From Worn Out to Running Free

A former collegiate athlete turned wife, mom, marathoner, ultra runner, and coach. I didn’t restart running after collegiate athletics to win races. I started running to find myself again.

I became a mom with a never-ending to-do list, zero energy, and a body I barely recognized. Somewhere in between diaper changes, late-night feedings, and chasing life’s expectations, I had lost myself.

One morning, tired, frustrated, and wearing mismatched socks, I laced up my old sneaks and went for a walk. That walk turned into a slow jog. That jog turned into a daily ritual. And the ritual? It turned into a lifeline.

Running became my therapy, my reset button, my proof that I was still strong.

It wasn’t always pretty, and still isn’t. There are tears, setbacks, and moments where I want to quit. But mile by mile, I am reclaiming my confidence, my health, and my joy.

Now, as a certified run coach and founder of PowHERful Pace Running, I help other women do the same- find strength, freedom, and community through movement.
